Aisha Syed. Ceramicist. Kansas City.

I started throwing in 2017 on a complete whim and never stopped.

My background is in architecture and printmaking. Form follows function, and working with your hands is a retreat from the noise. Ceramics gave me both at once.

GOODYNUF started the day I stopped trying to throw a perfect cylinder. I realized the drips, the kiln surprises, the slight variations were not failures. They were proof something real had been made.

Good enough is not resignation. It is a choice. It is recognizing that the piece is done, that you are enough, that imperfection is evidence of the handmade.

Every piece here is one of a kind because it has to be. I hope it reminds you of the same thing about yourself.
